The ACCUPRO A-6120092R is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precision drilling in tight-tolerance applications. Built to the Miniature series standard, it features a 0.92 mm diameter (0.0362 inches decimal equivalent) with a 120-degree point angle that promotes accurate entry and reduces walking on hard or brittle materials. The overall length is 30 mm with a 4.80 mm flute length and a 1.50 mm straight-cylindrical shank. Bright/uncoated finish keeps the surface as-ground, which is common for carbide micro tooling used in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. This bit is selected by machinists, toolmakers, and precision fabricators working on small-diameter hole requirements.
The A-6120092R is suited for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and precision hand-held spindles where micro-scale hole making is required. Typical applications include printed circuit board drilling, instrument component manufacturing, watchmaking fixtures, medical device components, and any fabrication work demanding sub-1 mm hole diameters. Right-hand cut with a regular spiral flute type makes it compatible with standard right-hand spindle setups. No coolant-through capability means it is intended for external coolant or dry cutting conditions at appropriate speeds for carbide micro tooling.
Designed as a Miniature series micro drill bit compatible with standard right-hand spindles and collet systems accepting a 1.50 mm straight-cylindrical shank.
Micro carbide drill bits are fragile and require a rigid, low-runout spindle setup to prevent breakage. Ensure the collet or chuck is clean and properly seated before clamping the 1.50 mm shank. Set spindle speed and feed rate according to the workpiece material and manufacturer guidelines for sub-1 mm carbide tooling. Do not use excessive feed pressure, as carbide micro bits will fracture before bending.
