The ACCUPRO A-6120056R is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precision drilling of small-diameter holes in tight-tolerance applications. The bit measures 0.56 mm (0.0220 inches) in diameter with a 1.00 mm straight-cylindrical shank and a 25 mm overall length. The 120-degree standard point angle promotes accurate entry and reduces walking on hard, dense materials. A spiral regular-flute geometry with a 2.80 mm flute length clears chips efficiently at high RPM. The bright, uncoated finish suits use across a wide range of base materials without coating interference. Right-hand cutting direction is standard. This bit is used by machinists, tool-and-die technicians, PCB fabricators, and precision assemblers.
The A-6120056R belongs to the ACCUPRO Miniature Series, built for applications that require sub-millimeter bore diameters. Typical use cases include printed circuit board drilling, precision instrument components, medical device part fabrication, watch and clock repair tooling, and small aerospace detail parts. The solid carbide construction makes it well suited for hard substrates such as hardened steel, stainless steel, ceramics, and composite laminates where high-speed steel tooling deflects or wears prematurely. It is sold individually, with a minimum order quantity of 10 units per transaction.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature drill bit for use in CNC drilling centers, benchtop micro-drill presses, and precision hand-held drill stations that accept a 1.00 mm straight-cylindrical shank.
Micro drill bits of this diameter require a high-speed spindle with minimal runout — typically 0.002 mm or less — to prevent bit breakage. Always verify that the chuck or collet is rated for 1.00 mm shank diameters and is clean and properly torqued before use. Power down the machine completely before bit changes. Do not apply side loads or use this bit for slot milling; axial drilling only is appropriate at this diameter.
