The ACCUPRO A-6120052R is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precise, small-diameter drilling in demanding applications. With a 0.0205-inch cutting diameter and a 120-degree drill point angle, this bit delivers accurate hole entry and stable cutting geometry in hard or abrasive materials. The bright, uncoated finish keeps the carbide substrate exposed for maximum cutting efficiency in ferrous and non-ferrous materials alike. At 25.00 mm overall length with a 1.00 mm straight-cylindrical shank, the A-6120052R fits standard micro drill chucks and collets used in precision machining and circuit board work. Installation and use require care given the fragile nature of sub-0.025-inch diameter tooling.
This micro drill bit is suited for precision drilling operations in electronics manufacturing, printed circuit board fabrication, instrument manufacturing, and fine metalworking. The miniature series designation indicates it is built for applications where tight tolerances and small hole diameters are required. The spiral flute design promotes chip evacuation in shallow and moderate-depth holes. Right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional CNC and manual micro-drilling setups. No coolant-through capability means this bit is used in dry or externally lubricated drilling operations.
Designed for use in standard micro drill chucks and collets accepting a 1.00 mm straight-cylindrical shank, suitable for CNC machining centers, micro-drill presses, and precision hand-held drilling systems configured for miniature-series tooling.
Micro drill bits at this diameter are extremely fragile and should be handled with care during installation and removal from the chuck or collet. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Runout at the spindle should be minimized to avoid bit deflection or breakage, as sub-0.025-inch carbide bits have very low tolerance for lateral load. Feeds and speeds should be set conservatively and verified against the workpiece material prior to production drilling.
