The ACCUPRO A-6120050R is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for high-precision drilling in tight-tolerance applications. With a 0.5 mm (0.0197 inch) diameter and a 120-degree point angle, this bit delivers clean entry and accurate hole placement in small-scale work. The bright, uncoated finish suits use in a wide range of base materials without introducing coating thickness variables. At 25 mm overall length with a 2.40 mm flute length and a 1.00 mm straight-cylindrical shank, this is a miniature-series tool built for use in CNC drilling centers, drill presses, and precision hand equipment. Right-hand cut with a regular spiral flute completes the geometry.
This micro drill bit is suited for precision machining operations where small-diameter hole accuracy is critical. Typical applications include PCB drilling, instrument component fabrication, watchmaking fixtures, and small-part production in metalworking or electronics manufacturing environments. The miniature series classification makes it appropriate for any setup requiring sub-millimeter tooling with consistent shank concentricity. Machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and precision fabricators working in production or prototype environments are the primary users of this bit.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature-series micro drill bit compatible with CNC drilling equipment, drill presses, and precision hand tools fitted with collets or chucks accepting a 1.00 mm straight-cylindrical shank.
Installation and use of micro drill bits should be performed by qualified machinists or precision tooling technicians. Ensure spindle and collet runout is minimized before seating the shank, as sub-millimeter tooling is highly sensitive to concentricity errors. Power down and lock out the machine before changing tooling. Avoid applying side load or lateral force to the bit during drilling, as solid carbide micro tools are brittle and will fracture under bending stress.
