The ACCUPRO A-6100132R is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precision drilling in tight-tolerance applications. This bit measures 1.32 mm (0.0520 inches) in diameter, corresponding to wire gauge size 55, and features a 120-degree drill point angle suited for work in hard and brittle materials. The overall length is 30.00 mm (1.18 inches), with a straight cylindrical shank diameter of 1.50 mm (0.059 inches). The bright, uncoated finish keeps the carbide substrate exposed for direct heat dissipation. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals install this bit in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and precision hand-held drilling fixtures.
This miniature series drill bit is used in precision manufacturing environments where small-diameter through-holes are required. Typical applications include printed circuit board drilling, watch and instrument component machining, medical device manufacturing, and fine mechanical assemblies. The right-hand cutting direction is compatible with standard spindle rotation on conventional machine tools. The spiral flute geometry promotes chip evacuation from shallow holes in metals, plastics, and composites. This bit is sold individually but requires a minimum order quantity of 10 units per purchase.
Designed as a miniature-series replacement drill bit for standard straight-shank collets and chucks accepting a 1.50 mm shank diameter on CNC machining centers, micro drill presses, and precision bench drilling fixtures.
Installation and use should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the bit from the collet or chuck. Verify collet or chuck bore diameter matches the 1.50 mm shank before clamping to prevent runout or bit breakage. Because of the small diameter, feed rate and spindle speed must be set conservatively per the material being drilled; consult published carbide tooling speed-and-feed charts for the specific workpiece material.
