The ACCUPRO A-6100110R is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precision drilling in small-diameter applications. At 1.1 mm in diameter (0.0433 inches decimal equivalent), it features a 120-degree standard point angle and a spiral flute geometry that promotes clean chip evacuation and accurate hole entry. The overall length is 30 mm with a 9 mm flute length and a 1.5 mm straight-cylindrical shank. Solid carbide construction provides the rigidity and wear resistance needed to hold tight tolerances in hard or abrasive materials. This bit is part of the Miniature series and is suited for machinists, toolmakers, and precision fabricators working with small-bore requirements.
This micro drill bit is used in precision machining operations where small hole diameters and positional accuracy are critical. Typical applications include drilling in metals, printed circuit boards, plastics, and composite materials on CNC machining centers, drill presses, or high-speed spindles. The right-hand cut and regular spiral geometry make it a standard-orientation tool compatible with conventional drill setups. It is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 10 units, making it appropriate for production environments where consistent tooling replenishment is needed.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers, high-speed drill presses, and precision spindle setups accepting a 1.5 mm straight-cylindrical shank. Suitable for drilling ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites where sub-2 mm hole diameters are required.
Installation of micro drill bits should be performed by a qualified machinist familiar with small-diameter tooling. Ensure the spindle and collet are clean and free of debris before seating the shank, as runout at micro diameters significantly affects hole quality and tool life. Use speeds and feeds appropriate for solid carbide micro tooling in the workpiece material — consult tooling reference data for the specific material being drilled. Do not apply side load or use the bit as a reamer, as solid carbide micro bits are brittle and susceptible to breakage under lateral force.
