The ACCUPRO A-6100054R is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precision drilling in small-diameter applications. At 0.54 mm (0.0213 inches) in diameter, this bit is built for work where dimensional accuracy is critical and standard tooling is too large. The 120-degree standard point angle provides accurate entry and reduces walking on hard materials. The bright, uncoated finish suits general-purpose use across a range of workpiece materials. With a 25 mm overall length and a 1.00 mm straight-cylindrical shank, it fits standard micro-drill chucks and collet holders common in precision machining setups.
This miniature drill bit is intended for precision machining environments including PCB drilling, instrument component manufacturing, watchmaking, medical device fabrication, and similar close-tolerance applications. It is suited for CNC machining centers, drill presses, and hand-held precision drill units capable of high RPM operation at micro diameters. The right-hand spiral flute configuration handles chip evacuation in through-hole and blind-hole drilling. Each unit is sold individually, with a minimum order quantity of 10 pieces per order.
Designed as a miniature-series replacement or stock drill bit for precision machining operations requiring a 0.54 mm diameter solid carbide drill with a straight-cylindrical shank.
Installation and use of micro drill bits should be performed by machinists or tooling technicians familiar with high-speed precision drilling. Ensure the spindle and collet or chuck are clean and properly sized to the 1.00 mm shank diameter before seating the bit. At micro diameters, runout tolerance is critical — verify runout with a dial indicator before production use. Do not exceed the recommended RPM range for the workpiece material and bit diameter, as micro carbide bits are brittle and will fracture under side load or excessive feed pressure.
