The ACCUPRO A-6100013R is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precision drilling in miniature applications. With a 0.0051-inch diameter and a 120-degree drill point angle, this bit is built for extremely tight-tolerance hole making where standard bits cannot perform. The bright/uncoated finish maintains the natural carbide surface, suitable for a range of base materials. A spiral flute with regular spiral geometry clears chips efficiently at small diameters. The straight-cylindrical shank seats securely in compatible micro drill chucks. Machinists, toolmakers, and precision fabricators working on printed circuit boards, watchmaking components, medical device parts, or similar fine-detail work rely on this class of tooling.
This micro drill bit fits applications demanding sub-0.010-inch hole diameters in controlled drilling environments, including CNC micro-machining centers, precision drill presses, and high-speed spindle setups. The 25.00 mm overall length and 1.00 mm shank diameter are standard for miniature series tooling. Right-hand cutting direction matches conventional spindle rotation. Coolant-through capability is not available on this bit, so external coolant or mist lubrication is the appropriate method when the material or feed rate demands it.
Designed for use with micro drill chucks and collet systems that accept a 1.00 mm straight-cylindrical shank, typical in CNC micro-machining centers and precision benchtop drill presses used in miniature tooling applications.
Installation should be performed by a machinist or tooling technician familiar with micro-diameter drill bit handling. Secure the shank fully into the chuck or collet before operation and verify runout with a dial indicator where tolerances are critical. At 0.0051-inch diameter, these bits are extremely fragile — avoid side loading, aggressive feed rates, or hand-feeding without controlled depth stops. Power down the spindle completely before changing tooling.
