The ACCUPRO 95172641 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. It features a 1/8 inch cutting diameter, a 0.0150 inch corner radius, and a 4-flute configuration that supports efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes. The AlCrTiN coating, applied via a PVD process, provides high heat resistance and extended tool life in demanding cutting conditions. With a 1/4 inch length of cut and a 1-1/2 inch overall length, this is a compact, rigid tool suited for fine detail work, slotting, and profiling in tight geometry applications. It is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators working with ferrous and hardened materials.
This end mill is well-suited for CNC machining centers and manual mills handling ferrous metals, stainless steels, and hardened alloys. The centercutting design allows plunge entry, making it practical for pocketing and ramp-entry operations. The variable index and variable helix geometry reduce harmonic vibration during high-speed cutting, which is especially useful in finish passes and thin-wall workpiece setups. The straight cylindrical shank with an h6 tolerance fits standard collet and end mill holders in the 1/8 inch bore size.
Designed for use with standard 1/8 inch bore collet chucks and end mill holders on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines. Part of the ACCUPRO VS Series of variable geometry solid carbide end mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or holder to the recommended gauge depth before tightening to prevent runout. Maximum TIR should be verified against the 0.0060 inch specification before cutting to protect edge integrity and workpiece tolerance.
