The ACCUPRO 95171404 is a solid carbide roughing finishing end mill designed for high-efficiency material removal and surface finishing in a single tool. With a 6 mm cutting diameter and 3 flutes in a right-hand cutting, right-hand flute direction configuration, it handles both aggressive roughing passes and finish-quality cuts. A 37-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation and reduced cutting forces. The ZrN (zirconium nitride) coating adds surface hardness and heat resistance, extending tool life in demanding applications. Micrograin carbide construction provides rigidity and edge retention. This tool is center-cutting, allowing plunge entry where required.
The 95171404 is suited for CNC milling operations on ferrous and non-ferrous materials where a combination roughing and finishing pass is preferred. With a 19 mm length of cut and 65 mm overall length on a straight 6 mm shank, it fits standard ER collet and end mill holder tooling systems. Typical users include CNC machinists and tool-and-die shops running vertical or horizontal machining centers on production or prototype work.

Installation should be performed by a qualified CNC machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Verify runout with a dial indicator before cutting to protect edge integrity and workpiece tolerance.
