The ACCUPRO 95170084 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling operations in ferrous and hardened materials. With a 5/8 inch diameter and a 3.25 inch length of cut, this tool handles deep-reach profiling, slotting, and finishing passes where rigidity and edge life matter. The AlCrTiN coating provides thermal resistance and oxidation protection, extending tool life in high-speed dry or near-dry cutting conditions. A variable index flute geometry reduces harmonic vibration during aggressive cuts. This end mill is sold as a single tool and is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators working in job shop, production, or tool room environments.
This end mill suits applications in CNC machining centers and vertical mills where corner radius profiles are required on molds, dies, pockets, and contoured part features. The 38-degree helix angle and four-flute configuration support both roughing and finishing in medium-to-hard materials. The straight cylindrical shank seats directly into standard end mill holders, collet chucks, and shrink-fit tooling with a 5/8 inch bore. The centercutting design allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole, adding setup flexibility for 3D contouring and ramping operations.
Designed for use in standard 5/8 inch end mill holders, ER collet chucks, and shrink-fit toolholders. Suitable for CNC machining centers and manual vertical mills requiring a corner radius end mill with a straight cylindrical shank.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the shank to the recommended gauge length for the holder type being used, and verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating type.
