The ACCUPRO 95170008 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding machining environments. Built from micrograin carbide, this single-end tool features seven flutes with a right-hand spiral flute direction and a 38-degree helix angle. The AlTiCrN coating provides elevated heat and wear resistance, making it well-suited for cutting harder workpiece materials at higher cutting speeds. With a mill diameter of 5/16 inches and a length of cut of 13/16 inches, it is sized for detail profiling, slotting, and finishing passes where chip evacuation and surface finish matter.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where a high-flute-count tool delivers improved surface finish and reduced chip load per flute. The 7-flute geometry is best applied in finishing and semi-finishing operations on ferrous and hardened alloy materials. The 38-degree helix promotes smooth cutting action and efficient chip flow. A 5/16-inch shank diameter and 2.5-inch overall length fit standard collet and end mill holder tooling commonly found in production and job-shop environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and production end mill for standard 5/16-inch collet or end mill holder tooling in CNC and manual milling applications. Part of the ACCUPRO HS Series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Secure the shank fully in a matched collet or end mill holder to the manufacturer-specified engagement depth before tightening. Confirm runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut. This tool is not centercutting and should not be plunged directly into solid material.
