The ACCUPRO 95169915 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding metalworking applications. It carries a 3/4-inch diameter, a 1-5/8-inch length of cut, and a 4-inch overall length. The tool features a 0.090-inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life in aggressive side-milling and slotting operations. An AlCrTiN coating provides excellent heat resistance and wear protection at elevated cutting temperatures. The 38-degree variable index spiral flute design with chipbreaker geometry supports chip evacuation and reduced cutting forces in ferrous and hardened materials. Machinists and CNC operators in job shops and production environments are the primary installers of this tool.
This end mill suits precision milling of steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hardened alloys in both roughing and semi-finishing passes. The centercutting capability allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece, making it practical for pocketing and ramping operations. The straight cylindrical shank with a 3/4-inch shank diameter accepts standard ER and side-lock toolholders commonly used on vertical and horizontal machining centers. The single-end configuration and right-hand cutting direction align with standard spindle rotation on most CNC mills.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and production-grade tooling option for CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers accepting a 3/4-inch straight cylindrical shank in standard ER collet or side-lock toolholders.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. The machine spindle must be fully stopped and the tool changer or spindle locked out before inserting or removing the end mill. Verify runout with a dial indicator after seating in the toolholder; excessive runout accelerates edge wear and reduces surface finish quality. Consult the machine manufacturer and tooling documentation for recommended speeds, feeds, and depth-of-cut parameters before running the tool.
