The ACCUPRO 95169899 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding machining environments. It features a 3/4 inch diameter, a 3-1/4 inch length of cut, and a 6 inch overall length. The five-flute geometry with a 38-degree helix promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. An AlCrTiN coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection, making this tool well-suited for harder workpiece materials and higher cutting speeds. The micrograin carbide substrate supports edge sharpness and rigidity under load. Variable index flute spacing reduces harmonic vibration during extended cuts. This end mill is installed and used by machinists and tooling technicians in CNC milling applications.
This end mill is intended for milling operations where a corner radius profile is required to reduce stress concentration at part corners and improve surface finish at the base of pockets and slots. It is a single-end, centercutting tool capable of plunge entry, making it suitable for both peripheral and face milling passes in production and job-shop environments. The right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting orientation align with standard CNC vertical and horizontal machining center setups. Typical applications include machining ferrous alloys, stainless steels, and hardened materials where coating performance and edge retention are priorities.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide corner radius end mill for CNC machining centers and milling machines accepting a 3/4 inch straight shank toolholder.
Installation and tool changes must be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and locked out per facility lockout/tagout procedures. Secure the 3/4 inch shank in a properly sized collet or end mill holder, tightening to the toolholder manufacturer's specification. Inspect the cutting edges and coating for chips or damage before each use. Always verify runout with a dial indicator after installation to maintain dimensional accuracy and extend tool life.
