The ACCUPRO 95169777 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. It features a 1/4 inch diameter with a 3/8 inch length of cut and a 7-flute geometry that promotes higher feed rates and improved surface finishes compared to lower-flute-count tools. The 38-degree helix angle supports efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces during aggressive passes. An AlTiCrN coating provides thermal and oxidation resistance, extending tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. This end mill is a single-end design with a right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction, manufactured from micrograin carbide for edge retention and rigidity.
The 95169777 is suited for finish milling and semi-finish milling operations on steel, stainless steel, and hardened alloys in job shop and production machining environments. Its 7-flute configuration and AlTiCrN coating make it appropriate for high-speed machining (HSM) strategies on CNC machining centers where heat generation and tool wear are primary concerns. The 1/4 inch shank diameter fits standard ER collet chucks and end mill holders common in both vertical and horizontal milling setups. This tool is part of the ACCUPRO Series HS lineup, which targets high-performance applications requiring tight tolerances and consistent surface quality.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard production end mill for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 1/4 inch shank diameter via ER collet, end mill holder, or equivalent toolholding system. Part of the ACCUPRO Series HS.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the tool from the holder. Seat the shank fully into the collet or holder to the recommended gauge length and torque the retention nut per the toolholder manufacturer's specification. This end mill is not centercutting; avoid direct axial plunge cuts — use ramping or helical entry strategies instead.
