The ACCUPRO 95169733 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. This single-end tool features a 1/2 inch diameter, a 1-5/8 inch length of cut, and a 4 inch overall length. The 5-flute geometry with a 38-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and surface finish quality. An AlCrTiN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in high-speed cutting conditions. The 0.020 inch corner radius reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge, helping prevent edge chipping on hard or abrasive workpiece materials. This end mill is centercutting, allowing plunge entry into the workpiece.
The 95169733 is suited for finish milling, slotting, and profiling operations on ferrous and non-ferrous metals in CNC machining centers and manual mills. The micrograin carbide substrate and variable index flute spacing help control chatter during aggressive cuts. The straight cylindrical shank with a 1/2 inch diameter seats directly in standard collet chucks and end mill holders. This tool is appropriate for job shops, toolrooms, and production machining environments where consistent dimensional accuracy is required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide end mill for CNC machining centers and manual milling machines accepting a 1/2 inch straight cylindrical shank. Compatible with standard ER collet chucks, side-lock holders, and hydraulic tool holders sized for 1/2 inch shanks.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the holder to the recommended minimum engagement depth per the tool holder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before commencing cuts to protect both the tool and the workpiece.
