The ACCUPRO 95169069 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal cutting and machining environments. Built from micrograin carbide and coated with AlCrTiN, this tool handles demanding ferrous and non-ferrous applications where heat and wear resistance are critical. The 1/4 inch diameter, 4-flute configuration with a variable helix and variable index geometry reduces chatter and improves surface finish across a range of cutting conditions. At 2 inches overall length with a 5/16 inch length of cut, this is a short-series end mill suited for close-tolerance work. It is installed and used by machinists and CNC operators in job shops, production floors, and toolrooms.
This end mill is intended for use in vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual milling machines where a 1/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank is compatible with the spindle or collet system. The short overall length and tight TIR maximum of 0.0005 inches make it well suited for finishing passes and applications requiring dimensional accuracy. The right-hand cut and right-hand helical flutes are standard for conventional milling setups. The AlCrTiN coating extends tool life in harder materials including alloy steels and stainless. This is a single-end, centercutting tool, meaning it can plunge as well as profile cut.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide square end mill for machining setups requiring a 1/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank end mill with a short length of cut.
This end mill is installed by machinists or CNC operators using a compatible collet, end mill holder, or tool chuck rated for a 1/4 inch shank diameter. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Verify collet condition and cleanliness before seating the shank to avoid runout issues. Follow the machine tool manufacturer guidelines for torque and clamping when securing the tool holder.
