The ACCUPRO 95168841 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding machining environments. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), this tool handles high-heat cutting applications where tool life and dimensional consistency are critical. It measures 0.6250 inches in diameter with a 0.0300-inch corner radius and a 0.7500-inch length of cut. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral configuration provides efficient chip evacuation and a smooth finish on ferrous and hardened materials. Machinists and CNC programmers working in job shops, production machining, and tool-and-die applications rely on tools like this for contour milling, profiling, and finishing passes.
This end mill is suited for use on CNC machining centers handling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys. The single-end, centercutting design allows for plunge entry as well as peripheral and slot milling. The extended reach configuration, with a 2.3750-inch reach length and a 0.5625-inch neck diameter, provides access to deep features and pockets without sacrificing rigidity at the shank. The 5/8-inch shank diameter is a standard size compatible with common ER and side-lock toolholders used in vertical and horizontal machining centers.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-application solid carbide corner radius end mill for use in standard 5/8-inch-bore ER collet chucks, milling chucks, and side-lock toolholders on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the toolholder is clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Verify shank diameter tolerance fit within the toolholder bore before tightening to the manufacturer-specified torque for the holder type in use. Confirm runout with a dial indicator after clamping and before initiating any cutting cycle.
