The ACCUPRO 95168805 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding machining environments. It features a 1 inch cutting diameter, a 2 inch length of cut, and a 0.0600 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentrations at the tool tip and extends tool life in profiling and finishing passes. The 5-flute geometry increases chip load capacity and surface finish quality compared to standard 4-flute tools. An AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance for dry machining and high-speed cutting in hardened steels, stainless alloys, and cast iron. This end mill is sized for CNC machining centers and manual mills operating with 1 inch collets or tool holders.
This end mill suits general-purpose and finishing applications in job shops, die and mold operations, and production machining environments. The centercutting design allows plunge entry, making it suitable for pocketing, slotting, and profiling in a single setup. The right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting orientation are standard for conventional CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers. The regular length classification and 4 inch overall length keep deflection low in typical side-milling and floor-finishing cuts.
Designed for use in 1 inch end mill holders, collet chucks, and shrink-fit tooling systems on CNC machining centers and manual mills requiring a 1 inch shank diameter. Confirm holder runout and clamping force specifications before installation.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Power down and lock out the spindle before inserting or removing the tool from the holder. Verify that the shank is fully seated to the required engagement depth in the holder before torquing set screws or collet nuts to the tooling manufacturer specifications. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer recommended depth-of-cut or chip load parameters for the workpiece material being machined.
