The ACCUPRO 95168750 is a 4-flute solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal cutting environments. With a 16 mm (0.6299 inch) cutting diameter and a 40 mm length of cut, this tool delivers consistent material removal in ferrous and non-ferrous applications. The micrograin carbide substrate supports sharper cutting edges and improved wear resistance. An AlTiN coating adds thermal stability and oxidation resistance, extending tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. Variable helix geometry reduces harmonic vibration and chatter during aggressive cuts. This end mill is a single-end, right-hand cut, right-hand flute tool suited for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills.
This end mill is suited for high-speed milling of hardened steels, stainless steel, cast iron, and similar ferrous materials where heat generation is a concern. The AlTiN coating performs best in dry or near-dry cutting conditions at elevated speeds. With a 100 mm overall length and a 16 mm shank diameter, it fits standard ER or direct-mount toolholders commonly found in vertical and horizontal machining centers. It is used in job shops, production facilities, and aerospace or automotive component machining where tight tolerances and repeatable surface finishes are required.
Designed for use in standard CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 16 mm straight shank. Compatible with ER32, Weldon, and similar toolholder systems sized for 16 mm shank diameters.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer or spindle is locked out before mounting or removing the end mill. Verify toolholder runout is within acceptable limits before cutting, as excessive runout will accelerate wear and degrade dimensional accuracy. Follow the toolholder manufacturer torque specifications when tightening collet nuts or set screws.
