The ACCUPRO 95168745 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The tool features a 1 inch cutting diameter, a 2 inch length of cut, and a 0.1250 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life in aggressive material removal applications. An AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating provides thermal resistance and hardness at elevated cutting temperatures, making this end mill well suited to dry or near-dry high-speed machining. With five flutes and a variable helix geometry, the tool balances chip evacuation with surface finish quality. Overall length is 4 inches and shank diameter is 1 inch.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where a center-cutting, single-end corner radius tool is required. It is appropriate for profiling, slotting, and contouring operations in mold and die work, aerospace component machining, and general precision shop applications. The micrograin carbide substrate supports tight tolerances and maintains edge integrity during high-feed passes. Right-hand cutting direction and right-hand flute spiral are standard on this configuration.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for standard 1 inch shank corner radius end mills in CNC machining centers and mill holders accepting R8, CAT, BT, or HSK tooling with a 1 inch bore.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in an E-stop or locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the tool holder and torque the retention mechanism to the tool holder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning the cut, as excessive runout accelerates edge wear on carbide tooling.
