The ACCUPRO 95168743 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. It features a 1 inch cutting diameter, a 2 inch length of cut, and a 0.0600 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentrations and extends tool life at the cutting edge. The 5-flute geometry supports higher feed rates and improved surface finish compared to standard 4-flute tools. An AlTiN coating provides heat resistance and hardness retention at elevated cutting temperatures. Overall length is 4 inches with a 1 inch shank diameter. This tool is used by machinists and tooling professionals in CNC machining centers running ferrous and hardened materials.
This end mill suits single-end milling operations in production and job shop environments. The right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting orientation make it a standard drop-in for conventional CNC setups. The variable helix design helps reduce chatter and harmonic vibration during interrupted cuts or deep-pocket milling. Centercutting capability allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece. The regular length type fits standard tool holders without extended-reach adapters. It is suited for steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and other ferrous alloys where AlTiN coating performance is beneficial.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct procurement option for CNC machining centers accepting a 1 inch straight shank end mill with standard ER or hydraulic toolholders.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the tool holder to the minimum insertion depth and torque the retention mechanism per the tool holder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning the cut to protect both the tool and the workpiece.
