The ACCUPRO 95168716 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for precision milling operations requiring a 45-degree chamfer profile. With a 1 inch cutting diameter and a 3.25 inch length of cut, this tool handles deep-reach chamfering and profiling in a single pass. The AlTiN coating improves heat resistance and tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. Micrograin carbide construction provides edge stability at high cutting speeds. This end mill is a single-end, centercutting tool, so it can be plunged directly into the workpiece when the application calls for it. Machinists and toolroom operators working with CNC mills and manual knee mills use this tool for deburring, chamfering, and finish profiling.
This tool is well suited for ferrous metals, stainless steel, and hardened alloys where a 45-degree chamfer edge is required. The long flute design and 6 inch overall length make it applicable for deep pockets and extended-reach setups where a standard-length end mill cannot reach. The variable helix geometry reduces chatter and harmonics during full-depth cuts. Right-hand cutting direction and right-hand flute spiral are standard for conventional CNC spindle setups. Shops running production chamfering, mold work, or aerospace and die components will find this geometry effective for consistent edge preparation.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide corner chamfer end mill for use in standard 1 inch collet or end mill holders on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines requiring a 45-degree chamfer profile.
Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician. Secure the 1 inch shank in a properly sized collet chuck or end mill holder, confirming runout before cutting. Verify spindle speed and feed rate against the workpiece material specifications before engaging the cut. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or wear before each use, as carbide tools can fail suddenly if run on a damaged edge.
