The ACCUPRO 95168705 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding machining environments. The tool features a 1 inch cutting diameter, a 0.0300 inch corner radius, and five flutes arranged in a right-hand spiral configuration with a 45-degree helix angle. The AlTiN coating provides heat resistance and extended tool life when cutting ferrous metals, stainless steels, and hardened alloys at elevated feeds and speeds. At 6 inches overall length with a 3.25 inch length of cut, this is a long-reach tool suited for deep-pocket and side-wall milling operations. It is installed and operated by CNC machinists and toolroom professionals.
This end mill is appropriate for vertical and horizontal machining centers running demanding materials where a corner radius is required to reduce stress concentration at the bottom of a pocket or step. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry. The long flute length supports deep slotting, profiling, and ramping operations in mold, die, and aerospace component work. The 1 inch shank diameter provides a rigid, accurate grip in standard end mill holders and shrink-fit tooling.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use corner radius end mill compatible with standard 1 inch end mill holders, collet chucks, and shrink-fit toolholders on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers.
Installation and tool changes must be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and the control placed in an estop or locked-out state per shop safety procedures. Ensure the shank is fully seated and clamped to the recommended pull-out torque specified by the toolholder manufacturer. Inspect the holder bore for wear or runout before seating a new tool. AlTiN-coated tools should be run dry or with air blast; avoid water-soluble coolant where it may cause thermal shock to the coating on interrupted cuts in hardened materials.
