The ACCUPRO 95168687 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metal-cutting applications. Built with a 5-flute, variable helix geometry and a right-hand cutting direction, it reduces chatter and vibration while improving surface finish and chip evacuation. The 1/8 inch cutting diameter pairs with a 1/2 inch length of cut, making it well-suited for tight-tolerance finishing and profiling operations. The nACRo coating provides enhanced heat and wear resistance for extended tool life in ferrous and high-hardness materials. Machinists and CNC operators working in tool rooms and production environments are the primary users of this end mill.
This end mill is intended for use in vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills where a small-diameter, high-flute-count tool is needed for finishing passes, slot milling, or contour work. The micrograin carbide substrate supports tight tolerances and stable performance in hardened steels, stainless steels, and similar alloys. The 1/8 inch shank diameter fits standard collets and end mill holders designed for that bore size. With a 1-1/2 inch overall length and no extended reach, it is configured for close-tolerance work where rigidity is critical.
Designed for use with standard 1/8 inch collets and end mill holders on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills performing finishing, profiling, and slot milling operations in ferrous and hard alloy materials.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or tool holder and torque the retention nut according to the tool holder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut to confirm proper seating and minimize tool deflection.
