The ACCUPRO 95168626 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding machining environments. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), this tool handles elevated cutting temperatures and abrasive materials with extended tool life. It features a 1-inch cutting diameter, a 0.0600-inch corner radius, and a 4-flute right-hand spiral configuration with centercutting capability. The 1.25-inch length of cut and 5-inch overall length make it well suited for reaching into deeper pockets without sacrificing rigidity. Machinists and CNC operators in job shops, aerospace, and general metalworking install and run this tool on vertical and horizontal machining centers.
This end mill is used in milling operations requiring a blended corner radius to reduce stress concentrations at the base of walls and floors. The extended reach configuration, with a 2.375-inch reach length and a 0.900-inch neck diameter, allows clearance past workpiece features while maintaining a 1-inch shank for secure tool holding. It is appropriate for slotting, profiling, and pocket milling in steel, stainless steel, titanium, and other materials compatible with AlTiN coatings. Single-end geometry keeps setup straightforward for standard tool holders.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard tooling option for CNC machining centers and manual mills using 1-inch straight shank tool holders conforming to standard collet and end mill holder specifications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a locked-out state before tool changes. Seat the 1-inch shank fully into the holder and tighten to the tool holder manufacturer's specification using the appropriate wrench. Inspect the corner radius and cutting edges for chips or coating damage before each use. Run initial cuts at conservative feed and speed parameters and adjust based on material and machine rigidity.
