The ACCUPRO 95168532 is a 5-flute corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and hard alloy materials. Built from micrograin solid carbide and finished with an AlTiN coating, it delivers high heat resistance and extended tool life in demanding cutting environments. The mill features a 3/8 inch diameter, a 0.0450 inch corner radius, and a 1 inch length of cut. Right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting orientation are standard. Variable helix geometry reduces chatter and harmonic vibration, improving surface finish consistency across a range of feed and speed conditions. This tool is intended for use by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working in job shop, production, or toolroom settings.
The 95168532 is suited for corner-radiusing, profiling, and slotting operations on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers. Its centercutting capability allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole. The 3/8 inch shank diameter is compatible with standard ER and shrink-fit collet toolholders. With a 2.5 inch overall length and regular length classification, it fits a wide range of standard tool assemblies without requiring extended-reach adapters. AlTiN coating makes it particularly effective in dry or minimal-lubrication machining of hardened steels, stainless alloys, and titanium-grade materials.
Designed as a single-end corner radius end mill with a 3/8 inch shank diameter, compatible with standard collet chucks, shrink-fit holders, and milling arbors accepting 3/8 inch shanks. No specific machine model compatibility was provided by the manufacturer.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer guidelines for tool runout and holding torque. Confirm shank seating depth and collet condition before engaging the spindle. Verify spindle RPM and feed rate parameters against the cutting tool manufacturer recommendations for the specific workpiece material before initiating the cut. Handle carbide tooling carefully to avoid chipping the cutting edges during setup and storage.
