The ACCUPRO 95168521 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling of ferrous and hard alloy materials. It features a 1-inch cutting diameter, a 2-inch length of cut, and a 0.0300-inch corner radius that reduces stress concentrations at the cutting edge and extends tool life in demanding applications. The AlTiN coating provides excellent heat resistance and hardness at elevated cutting temperatures, making it well-suited for dry or near-dry machining. With 5 flutes and a 45-degree helix angle, this tool delivers a strong chip evacuation profile and a fine surface finish. It is installed and operated by CNC machinists and toolroom professionals on vertical and horizontal machining centers.
This end mill is used in precision machining environments where corner radii are required on part features such as pockets, slots, and contoured surfaces. The single-end, centercutting design allows for plunge entry as well as peripheral and slot milling. It is well matched to medium-to-high hardness ferrous workpieces including alloy steels, tool steels, and stainless grades where an AlTiN coating provides a meaningful advantage over uncoated or TiN-coated alternatives. The 1-inch shank diameter fits standard ER or side-lock toolholders common in most machining centers.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide corner radius end mill suitable for use in standard 1-inch-bore ER collet chucks, side-lock holders, or hydraulic toolholders on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers.
This tool is installed and operated by qualified CNC machinists. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Verify that the toolholder bore and collet are clean and free of chips before seating the shank. Follow machine manufacturer runout specifications and apply appropriate cutting parameters for the workpiece material and coating type; consult the tooling manufacturer data sheet for starting speeds and feeds.
