The ACCUPRO 95168482 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision material removal in ferrous and high-temperature alloy applications. With a 3/4 inch cutting diameter, 1-5/8 inch length of cut, and three spiral flutes in a right-hand cutting direction, this tool delivers controlled chip evacuation and accurate edge geometry. The micrograin carbide substrate paired with an AlTiN coating provides heat resistance and extended tool life in demanding cutting environments. At 4 inches overall length with a 3/4 inch shank diameter, it fits standard toolholders in most vertical and horizontal machining centers. Centercutting capability allows for direct plunge entry. This is a single-end tool in the regular length category.
This end mill is suited for milling operations in machine shops, toolrooms, and production environments where tight tolerances and consistent surface finish are required. The AlTiN coating makes it particularly effective when cutting hardened steels, stainless alloys, titanium, and other high-hardness materials at elevated spindle speeds. The right-hand helix promotes upward chip flow and reduces built-up edge in blind-pocket and slot milling operations. Machinists and CNC operators working in general-purpose or high-performance cutting applications will find this tool appropriate for profiling, slotting, and peripheral milling.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or standard tooling selection for CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with 3/4 inch collet chucks, end mill holders, or shrink-fit toolholders accepting a 3/4 inch shank diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the control is in an e-stop or lockout state before inserting or removing tooling. Seat the shank to the full recommended engagement depth in the toolholder and torque the retention mechanism per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Inspect the cutting edges and coating condition before each use and replace the tool at first sign of chipping or excessive wear to avoid workpiece damage.
