The ACCUPRO 95168481 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. It measures 0.75 inches in diameter with a 1.625-inch length of cut and carries a 0.0300-inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge. The micrograin carbide substrate paired with an AlTiN coating allows the tool to handle elevated cutting temperatures generated during high-speed machining of hardened steels, stainless alloys, and cast iron. With five flutes and a 45-degree helix angle, this end mill produces a smooth surface finish while maintaining chip evacuation in slotting and peripheral milling operations. It is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers in job shop and production environments.
This end mill is suited for use in vertical machining centers, horizontal mills, and CNC milling machines where a corner radius profile is required to blend floor-to-wall transitions in pockets, slots, and contoured surfaces. The single-end, centercutting configuration supports both plunge entry and lateral passes. Right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting direction make it compatible with standard spindle rotation. The regular-length classification positions it as a general-purpose tool for work within normal reach-to-depth ratios without extended-reach adapters.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct tooling selection for standard 3/4-inch collet chucks, end mill holders, and hydraulic toolholders used in CNC and manual milling machines requiring a 3/4-inch shank diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer's toolholder torque and runout specifications. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe locked-out state before changing or adjusting the tool. Shank engagement in the holder should meet the minimum depth recommended for the toolholder type to prevent pullout under load. Verify runout at the tool tip does not exceed the tolerance requirements of the workpiece before initiating a cut.
