The ACCUPRO 95168427 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding machining environments. Built from micrograin carbide and coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), it handles elevated cutting temperatures and abrasive materials without rapid edge breakdown. The 1-inch cutting diameter pairs with a 2-inch length of cut, a 1-inch shank diameter, and a 4-inch overall length. Four flutes and a variable helix geometry work together to reduce harmonic vibration, improve chip evacuation, and maintain surface finish consistency across a range of feed rates and materials. Centercutting capability allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled starting hole.
This end mill is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and other ferrous alloys in production machining and toolroom applications. The AlTiN coating extends tool life in dry or minimal-lubricant cutting conditions where heat buildup would otherwise degrade uncoated carbide.
