The ACCUPRO 95168403 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal cutting applications. It carries a 7/16 inch (0.4375 inch) cutting diameter and a 0.0200 inch corner radius that protects the cutting edge and reduces stress concentrations at the root of milled features. The 4-flute geometry with right-hand spiral flutes and right-hand cutting direction supports efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes. The micrograin carbide substrate is coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), which provides elevated heat resistance and extended tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. This end mill is centercutting and suitable for plunge entry as well as peripheral and slot milling.
This end mill is suited for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys in job shop, production, and toolroom environments. The single-end configuration and regular length classification make it a standard choice for vertical machining centers and manual knee mills where rigidity and reach are balanced. The 1 inch length of cut accommodates moderate-depth passes without sacrificing stability. Machinists, CNC programmers, and toolroom operators working in precision metalworking will find this tool applicable to contouring, profiling, and pocket milling operations that require a radiused corner detail.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide corner radius end mill compatible with standard 7/16 inch collets and end mill holders used on vertical machining centers and manual milling machines.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the machine fully powered down and spindle locked. Ensure the shank is fully seated and the collet or end mill holder is torqued to the machine manufacturer's specification. Inspect the cutting edges and coating before each use and confirm correct speeds and feeds for the workpiece material before engaging the cut.
