The ACCUPRO 95168379 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal and hard material applications. Built from micrograin carbide, this stub-length tool measures 0.2188 inches in diameter with a 0.375-inch length of cut and a 0.25-inch shank diameter. The 45-degree spiral helix and five-flute geometry promote aggressive chip evacuation and smooth finishes at elevated feed rates. An AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and hardness at the cutting edge, extending tool life in ferrous and high-temperature alloy cutting. This tool is center-cutting and runs in a right-hand cut, right-hand flute configuration.
This end mill is suited for milling slots, pockets, and profiles in ferrous metals, stainless steel, titanium, and similar hard materials. The stub length and micrograin carbide construction make it appropriate for rigid setups where deflection control and dimensional accuracy are critical. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals working on CNC mills or manual vertical mills will find this tool well-matched to finish-pass and semi-finish operations where tight tolerances are required. The 0.25-inch shank fits standard 1/4-inch collets and tool holders.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard tooling option for CNC and manual milling machines accepting a 1/4-inch shank, 1/4-inch collet, or equivalent tool holder.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following standard toolroom practices. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before inserting or removing the tool. Use a properly sized collet or end mill holder and tighten to the tool holder manufacturer's torque specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut, and confirm feed and speed parameters are appropriate for the workpiece material and coating type.
