The ACCUPRO 95168375 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. It features a 0.5 inch diameter, a 2 inch length of cut (LOC), and a 0.1200 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentrations and extends tool life in demanding cuts. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral design with a variable helix promotes chip evacuation and reduces chatter during high-feed passes. An AlTiN coating improves heat resistance and hardness at elevated cutting temperatures. This is a single-end, centercutting tool, meaning it can plunge directly into a workpiece. It is sized for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills by skilled machinists and tool-and-die professionals.
This end mill is suited for milling hardened steels, stainless steels, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys in both roughing and finishing applications where a radiused corner profile is required. The long flute length of 2 inches supports deeper shoulder milling, slot milling, and profiling passes. The 0.5 inch shank diameter fits standard ER and end mill holders commonly found in production and job shop environments. The micrograin carbide substrate provides the rigidity needed for tight-tolerance work in aerospace, mold-and-die, and general precision machining contexts.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for standard 1/2 inch shank corner radius end mill applications. Compatible with ER collet chucks, end mill holders, and shrink-fit tooling systems accepting a 1/2 inch shank diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist familiar with CNC or manual milling equipment. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully and evenly in the holder and torque the retention system to the holder manufacturer's specification. Verify runout with a test indicator before beginning production cuts.
