The ACCUPRO 95168364 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding metalworking applications. With a 0.5 inch mill diameter, a 1.25 inch length of cut, and a 3 inch overall length, this single-end tool delivers precise material removal in a compact, rigid geometry. The 5-flute configuration combined with a variable helix design reduces harmonic chatter, improves chip evacuation, and supports higher feed rates compared to standard fixed-helix end mills. The nACRo coating provides elevated heat resistance and hardness, making this tool well-suited for cutting hardened steels, stainless alloys, and other difficult materials. It is typically installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers in production shop environments.
This end mill is used in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling operations. Its micrograin carbide substrate supports tight tolerances and extended tool life in abrasive or high-temperature cutting conditions. The right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction make it compatible with standard spindle configurations. The center-cutting capability allows direct plunge entry into the workpiece without requiring a pilot hole, expanding its application range to pocketing and ramping operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide square end mill for standard 1/2 inch collet or end mill holder tooling systems used in CNC and manual milling applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Secure the shank in a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder and torque the retention mechanism according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Inspect the shank and collet bore for chips or contamination before seating the tool. Always confirm spindle direction and programmed feed and speed parameters before engaging the cut.
