The ACCUPRO 95168359 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), this tool handles high-temperature cutting environments and delivers extended tool life on hardened steels, stainless steels, and high-temperature alloys. The 0.0600 inch corner radius reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge, helping prevent chipping during aggressive passes. With a 1/2 inch diameter, 2 inch length of cut, and 4 inch overall length, this is a long-reach tool suited for deep-cavity milling where standard-length end mills cannot reach. It is installed by machinists and CNC operators in job shop and production environments.
This end mill is used in vertical and horizontal CNC machining centers for slotting, profiling, and contouring operations. The single-end, centercutting design allows plunge entry, making it versatile for both roughing and finishing passes. The variable helix geometry helps reduce harmonic chatter during deep cuts. Right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting direction are standard for conventional CNC setups. Typical applications include die and mold work, aerospace component machining, and general precision part production where corner integrity and surface finish are critical.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitment for 1/2 inch collet or end mill holders on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers requiring a 1/2 inch shank, 4 flute, corner radius end mill.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician. The tool must be seated fully and securely in a 1/2 inch collet, shrink-fit holder, or set-screw end mill holder before use. Verify runout with a dial indicator before production cuts, as excessive runout accelerates wear on carbide tooling. Never exceed the tool manufacturer recommended feeds and speeds for the workpiece material and coating combination.
