The ACCUPRO 95168355 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and hardened materials. It features a 3/16 inch (0.1875 inch) cutting diameter with a 0.0100 inch corner radius, a 4-flute spiral geometry, and an AlTiN coating that improves heat resistance and tool life at elevated cutting speeds. The single-end, centercutting design allows both plunge and peripheral cutting. With a regular-length classification, 5/8 inch length of cut, and 2 inch overall length, it fits standard toolholders used in CNC machining centers and manual mills. Micrograin carbide substrate provides the rigidity needed for tight-tolerance work.
This end mill is suited for finish milling, contouring, and corner-radii profiling in tool steels, stainless steels, hardened alloys, and cast iron. The variable helix flute design reduces harmonic vibration during cut, making it appropriate for high-speed machining applications where chatter control is critical. It is a single-end tool, so the full shank is available for clamping in collet chucks, end mill holders, or shrink-fit toolholders. The 3/16 inch shank diameter matches the cutting diameter, which is typical for this size range.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct application tool for standard 3/16 inch collet chucks, end mill holders, and shrink-fit toolholding systems used in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the tool from the toolholder. Verify runout with a dial indicator after clamping, as excessive runout accelerates edge wear on small-diameter carbide tools. Follow the toolholder manufacturer's recommended torque procedure for the collet nut or retention knob — do not overtighten with improvised tools.
