The ACCUPRO 95168354 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal cutting applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), it handles high-temperature cutting environments common in ferrous and hardened materials. The 0.0100 inch corner radius reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and produces a consistent radius at the bottom of pockets and slots. With 4 flutes and a variable helix design, it balances chip evacuation with surface finish quality. This tool is installed and operated by machinists, tool-and-die makers, and CNC programmers in production and job shop environments.
This end mill is suited for milling hardened steels, stainless alloys, titanium, and similar difficult-to-cut materials where AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life. It is a single-end, centercutting tool, meaning it can be used for plunge cuts as well as peripheral and slot milling. The regular length configuration makes it appropriate for standard-depth pockets and profiling passes where rigidity is a priority over reach. Right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting orientation are standard for conventional CNC machining center spindles.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide corner radius end mill for use in standard 1/2 inch collet or end mill holders on CNC vertical machining centers and milling machines.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. The tool shank must be fully seated in a clean, undamaged collet or shrink-fit holder to the minimum engagement depth before tightening. Inspect the holder bore and collet for chips or wear before installation. Always confirm spindle speed, feed rate, and depth of cut against the tool manufacturer cutting data before beginning a program — do not exceed the tool diameter-to-overhang ratio appropriate for the material being cut.
