The ACCUPRO 95168346 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for precision milling in demanding machining environments. With a 1/4 inch cutting diameter and a 0.0150 inch corner radius, it produces smooth transitions between walls and floors while reducing stress concentrations at part corners. The five-flute geometry increases chip load capacity and improves surface finish compared to standard four-flute tools. An AlTiN coating provides high-temperature hardness and oxidation resistance, making it well suited for cutting hard and abrasive workpiece materials. This tool is installed and run by machinists and CNC operators in job shop and production environments.
This end mill is designed for use in vertical and horizontal machining centers as well as manual knee mills where a 1/4 inch shank is supported. It is suited for finishing and semi-finishing passes in steel, stainless steel, hardened alloys, and other ferrous materials where the AlTiN coating delivers heat resistance. The 3/4 inch length of cut supports typical shallow-to-medium pocket depths, and the 2-1/2 inch overall length keeps the tool rigid in standard tool holders and collet chucks.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitment for 1/4 inch shank tool holders, collet chucks, and shrink-fit holders used in CNC machining centers and manual mills requiring a corner radius end mill.
This tool is installed by machinists using a compatible 1/4 inch collet or end mill holder; ensure the holder is clean and free of chips before seating the shank. Confirm spindle speed and feed rate parameters against the toolmaker's recommended cutting data for the specific workpiece material before running the tool. Never exceed the tool's rated depth of cut for the selected number of flutes and material hardness. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling in accordance with applicable machine guarding and lockout/tagout procedures.
