The ACCUPRO 95168339 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal fabrication and machining environments. Measuring 0.625 inches in diameter with a 1.625-inch length of cut and a 3.5-inch overall length, this tool delivers reliable material removal in a regular-length profile. The 5-flute geometry combined with a variable helix spiral flute design reduces chatter and improves surface finish across a range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. An AlTiN coating enhances heat resistance and extends tool life in high-temperature cutting conditions. This end mill is installed and operated by machinists and tooling specialists using CNC mills and manual milling machines.
This end mill is suited for slot milling, peripheral milling, and profiling operations on production and job-shop machining centers. The right-hand cut, right-hand flute configuration is the standard orientation for the majority of vertical and horizontal milling setups. The centercutting capability allows plunge entry into workpieces without a pre-drilled hole. The micrograin carbide substrate supports use in harder materials where high-speed steel tooling would wear prematurely. It is appropriate for both roughing and finishing passes depending on feed and speed parameters.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard tooling option for CNC and manual milling machines accepting a 0.625-inch shank diameter collet or end mill holder.
Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the end mill from the holder. Use a properly sized collet or shrink-fit holder matched to the 0.625-inch shank diameter and verify runout with a dial indicator before initiating a cut. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating type.
