The ACCUPRO 95168320 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in demanding metal-cutting environments. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with AlTiN (Aluminum Titanium Nitride), it delivers high heat resistance and wear life in ferrous and hardened materials. The tool features a 3/8 inch diameter, a 0.045 inch corner radius, and 4 flutes with a right-hand spiral and variable helix geometry. At 2.5 inches overall length with a 1 inch length of cut, it suits a wide range of standard milling setups. Installation and operation require a CNC machining center or manual milling machine with an appropriate collet or end mill holder.
This end mill is suited for use in job shops, tool rooms, and production environments where corner radius geometry is required to reduce stress concentrations at part corners and extend tool life. The centercutting design allows plunge entry in addition to peripheral and slot milling. It is a single-end tool intended for right-hand cutting. Typical applications include profiling, contouring, and finishing passes on steel, stainless steel, and high-temperature alloys where the AlTiN coating provides thermal protection at elevated cutting speeds.
Designed for use in standard 3/8 inch collets, end mill holders, or hydraulic chucks on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills. No specific machine model compatibility was provided by the manufacturer for this part.
This tool is installed by a machinist or CNC operator and must be secured in a properly sized collet or end mill holder torqued to the machine manufacturer's specification. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling. Verify runout with a dial indicator after installation to confirm proper seating and avoid premature edge wear. Do not exceed the manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating type.
