The ACCUPRO 95168319 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal and alloy workpieces. With a 3/8-inch cutting diameter and a 0.0200-inch corner radius, this tool produces blended edge profiles that reduce stress concentrations in machined parts. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral geometry with a variable helix delivers improved chip evacuation and reduced chatter compared to fixed-helix designs. An aluminum titanium nitride (AlTiN) coating increases surface hardness and thermal resistance, extending tool life in high-speed dry or semi-dry machining environments. This end mill is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers working in job shops, production facilities, and precision manufacturing operations.
This tool is suited for profiling, slotting, and contouring operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials where a radiused corner is required. The stub-length configuration with a 1/2-inch length of cut and 2-inch overall length provides rigidity for demanding cuts in tight setups or shallow-depth applications. The centercutting design allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece without a pre-drilled hole. The single-end construction is standard for replaceable tooling workflows in CNC machining centers and manual mills.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines accepting a 3/8-inch shank. Suitable for applications requiring a corner radius end mill in ferrous and non-ferrous metal machining.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle and tool holder are clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Confirm runout with a dial indicator before beginning production cuts. Follow the machine tool manufacturer's guidelines for collet torque and toolholder type; do not exceed the rated spindle speed for the cutter diameter and material being machined.
