The ACCUPRO 95168295 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking and machining applications. It features a 3/8 inch cutting diameter with a 0.0600 inch corner radius, a 1/2 inch length of cut, and a 2 inch overall length. The 5-flute geometry with a 45-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes at higher feed rates. The AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and hardness retention during high-speed cutting, making it well suited for ferrous metals, stainless steels, and hardened alloys. This is a single-end, centercutting tool with right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting direction, ground from micrograin solid carbide stock.
This end mill is used in CNC machining centers and manual mills for contouring, slotting, peripheral milling, and profiling operations where corner integrity and edge life are critical. The stub length type makes it appropriate for rigid setups where overhang must be minimized to control deflection. It is commonly installed by machinists, tool and die makers, and CNC programmers working in job shops, aerospace fabrication, mold and die work, and general precision manufacturing.
Designed as a standard 3/8 inch shank corner radius end mill compatible with any CNC machining center, vertical mill, or toolholder accepting a 3/8 inch round shank.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or toolholder and tighten to the toolholder manufacturer's torque specification using the appropriate wrench. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning the cut, and confirm that feeds, speeds, and depth of cut are appropriate for the workpiece material and machine rigidity.
