The ACCUPRO 95168252 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. With a 1/8 inch cutting diameter and five flutes, it delivers a fine surface finish and efficient chip evacuation in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The variable helix geometry reduces chatter and harmonic vibration, improving stability during aggressive cuts. An AlTiN coating adds thermal resistance and wear protection, extending tool life in high-speed applications. This end mill is a stub-length configuration with a 1/4 inch length of cut and 1-1/2 inch overall length, suited for rigid setups where minimizing deflection is a priority. Installation and use are performed by machinists and CNC operators in production and job shop environments.
This end mill is suited for milling slots, pockets, and contours in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and similar hard materials. The centercutting design allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece. The right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional CNC mill spindle rotation. The stub length profile makes it particularly effective when working in confined areas or when tool reach must be minimized to maximize rigidity. It is appropriate for both horizontal and vertical milling machine setups.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard tooling option for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 1/8 inch shank end mill holder or collet.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Secure the 1/8 inch shank in a matching collet or end mill holder and verify runout before beginning a cut. Ensure the spindle and any tool changer mechanisms are fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before inserting or removing the tool. Do not exceed the tool's rated cutting parameters for the material being machined, and follow the machine manufacturer's guidelines for feed rate, spindle speed, and depth of cut.
