The ACCUPRO 95139027 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in demanding machining environments. Built from ultra-fine micrograin carbide and coated with AlCrTiN for heat and wear resistance, this tool delivers consistent performance in hardened steels, stainless alloys, and other difficult-to-machine materials. It features a 1/2 inch cutting diameter, a 0.0300 inch corner radius, and five flutes arranged in a right-hand spiral with a 38-degree helix angle. The extended reach design and long-length configuration make it well suited for deep-pocket and profiling work where a standard-length tool cannot reach.
This end mill is used in CNC machining centers for high-accuracy milling of hardened tooling, die and mold cavities, aerospace components, and precision mechanical parts. The centercutting geometry allows for plunge entry as well as full peripheral cutting. The Smart-Weldon shank type provides secure tool holding in compatible toolholders. The AlCrTiN coating supports high-speed dry or near-dry machining by reducing friction and extending tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. Installation and use are typical for professional machinists and CNC setup technicians working in job shop and production environments.
Compatible with toolholders designed for a 1/2 inch shank diameter with an h6 shank tolerance. The Smart-Weldon shank type is intended for use with compatible Smart-Weldon toolholding systems. Verify toolholder compatibility before installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician familiar with rotating cutting tool safety. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before loading or removing the tool. Seat the shank fully in the toolholder to the recommended grip length and torque the retention mechanism per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Inspect the cutting edges and coating for damage before each use, and do not exceed the tool manufacturer recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material.
