The ACCUPRO 95138999 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in demanding machining environments. It features a 3/4 inch diameter, a 2 inch length of cut, and a 0.030 inch corner radius, making it suited for profiling, contouring, and finishing applications where corner integrity and tool longevity are critical. The 5-flute geometry combined with a 38-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes at higher feed rates. An AlCrTiN coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection for extended tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. This end mill is single end, centercutting, and built to the ST series standard, targeting machinists and tool-and-die professionals working in production and job shop settings.
This end mill is suited for use in CNC machining centers handling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and other ferrous alloys. The extended reach geometry and Smart-Weldon shank design allow access to deeper pockets and features without sacrificing rigidity. The right-hand cut and right-hand spiral flute direction are standard for conventional vertical and horizontal milling setups. Machinists running high-speed or hard milling operations will benefit from the ultra fine micrograin carbide substrate and the AlCrTiN coating, which maintains edge integrity at elevated cutting temperatures.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-production corner radius end mill compatible with CNC machining centers and milling machines accepting a 3/4 inch shank diameter toolholder with Smart-Weldon interface.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following established toolholding procedures for carbide end mills. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Verify toolholder runout does not exceed the specified TIR maximum of 0.0004 inches to protect edge geometry and coating integrity. Consult machine and toolholder manufacturer specifications for proper torque and retention when seating the Smart-Weldon shank.
