The tool runs 3 flutes ground from micrograin solid carbide and is finished with a TiAlN coating for extended tool life in abrasive materials. At 27 teeth per inch, it is sized specifically for NPT thread profiles. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals install this tool in CNC machining centers for precision thread milling operations.
