The ACCUPRO 936-10115 is a helical flute thread mill designed for cutting internal NPT threads in demanding machining environments. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with TiAlN, this tool delivers high wear resistance and thermal stability during thread milling operations. It features a 0.62-inch cutting diameter, a 1.125-inch length of cut, and a 5/8-inch shank diameter. With 4 helical flutes, it produces clean, precise thread forms in a single helical pass. This tool is used by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working on CNC machining centers.
The 936-10115 is suited for internal NPT thread milling applications where a dedicated tap is impractical or where thread quality and tool life are priorities. The 1/2 NPT thread standard and 1.0-inch minimum nominal diameter make it appropriate for pipe thread features in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It is a solid choice for production and job-shop environments running CNC mills with helical interpolation capability. No coolant-through feature; flood or mist coolant is the typical application method.

This tool is installed and operated by machinists using CNC mills with helical interpolation programming. Secure the 5/8-inch shank in a properly sized collet or end mill holder before use and verify runout before cutting. No coolant-through passages are present, so external flood or mist coolant should be applied during operation. Follow the CNC machine manufacturer and tooling supplier guidelines for feed rate, spindle speed, and helical interpolation parameters appropriate to the workpiece material.
