The ACCUPRO 784910 is an ER20 series collet designed for use in CNC machining centers, milling machines, and other rotating spindle equipment that accepts ER20 toolholding systems. This collet holds cutting tools and workholding shanks with a collet capacity of 0.349 inches and a minimum collet capacity of 0.313 inches. Measuring 1.9 inches in height and 1.2 inches in width and length, it is a compact, precision-ground component. Machinists and CNC operators install this type of collet when setting up tool assemblies that require repeatable runout and secure clamping across a range of shank diameters within the ER20 range.
This collet is suited for use in machine shops, production environments, and job shops running ER20-compatible collet chucks. Typical applications include end mill holders, drill chucks, and tapping attachments on vertical and horizontal machining centers. It is also used in manual milling and drilling setups where an ER20 collet chuck is the clamping interface. The 0.349-inch capacity makes it appropriate for tool shanks at or near that diameter within the ER20 clamping range.

Installation is performed by machinists or CNC setup technicians. Before changing a collet, ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state per shop safety procedures. The collet seats into the collet chuck nut and should be clicked into the nut before threading onto the chuck body. Do not exceed the tool shank diameter range of the collet, as improper sizing can result in tool pullout or runout issues.
