The ACCUPRO 77712511 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding metalworking and machining applications. It measures 9 mm in diameter with a 140-degree split point and features an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating for extended tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. The overall length is 110 mm with a 56.3 mm flute length. Coolant-through capability allows internal coolant delivery directly to the cutting zone, making it suitable for deep-hole and high-speed drilling operations on hard and abrasive materials. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary installers and users of this tool.
This bit is suited for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual mills where precise, repeatable hole sizing is required. The 9 mm cutting diameter and straight-cylindrical shank at 10 mm diameter fit standard collet chucks and drill chucks configured for that shank size. Typical applications include drilling ferrous metals, stainless steels, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys. The web-thinned, tapered web configuration reduces thrust requirements and improves chip evacuation in production environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit solid carbide jobber drill for machining setups accepting a 10 mm straight-cylindrical shank in the 9 mm to 10 mm drill diameter size range.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or tooling technicians familiar with CNC or manual machine setup. Ensure the machine spindle and chuck are fully de-energized and at a complete stop before inserting or removing the bit. Verify collet or chuck runout is within acceptable tolerance before cutting, as excessive runout accelerates carbide wear and can cause premature breakage. Follow applicable workplace safety standards and machine manufacturer guidelines for speeds, feeds, and coolant pressure when using coolant-through tooling.
